Amruta Fadnavis awarded by the UK government, here’s why

Amruta Fadnavis is on cloud nine currently as she was awarded a special title by the government of United Kingdom. Taking to Twitter, the politician stated her journey and wrote how elated she is after winning the award, she also hailed a special person for her achievement.
Amruta, wife of Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, was all praise for none other than the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi himself, after she was awarded the ‘Indian of the World’ award at the British Parliament. She stated that it was his efforts that Indo-UK relations have been diplomatically tightened and it is expanding at all levels including, federal, state and local levels.

Sharing a series of pictures of herself receiving the award in the ceremony, she wrote, “It was an honour to speak on ‘Indo-UK relations’ at UK Parliament & also received ‘Indian of the World’ award at UK Parliament. Today, with efforts of our PM Narendra Modi ji,India-UK relation has become robust & is expanding at federal,state & local levels.”

Amruta Fadnavis jetted off to London on June 29 and upon arrival she visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir to perform a special puja where she prayed for the stability and prosperity of Maharashtra.

The politician’s visit to the United Kingdom came after the political crisis deepened in Maharashtra that resulted in Eknath Shinde becoming the chief minister of the state and Devendra Fadnavis, husband of Amruta Fadnavis, was appointed as his deputy.
After the political drama reached its peak, Fadnavis had stated that he wouldn’t like to be a part of the newly formed state government, however, he is up for extending full support to the recently appointed Eknath Shinde and his cabinet. Meanwhile, the prime leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked Fadnavis to take over the duty as the deputy CM of Maharashtra.
